2011 One Cebu Autoclub Meet
The 2011 1Cebu Auto Meet started last friday and it will end today. The show features the different active Auto Clubs in Cebu. They will showcase their cars from the classic like the Old Bettle to the newest BMWs and Porches. Car dealerships are also their to introduce the public about their new models and promos. There are various activities that are in store like sound off, Car models, and the event gives the public an opportunity to interact with the car enthusiasts in Cebu. The event is part of the 1Cebu Expo that is organized by the Cebu Provincial Government headed by Governor Gwendolyn Garcia.
I took some pics yesterday when the models were there to add some spice in the event. ;)

2010 One Cebu Expo
The Provincial Government of Cebu, Philippines led by the Hon. Governor Gwendolyn Garcia is hosting the 2010 One Cebu Expo at Cebu International Convention Center. This event coincides the 441st Anniversary of Cebu Province.
The expo will showcase the best products from the province. This event is participated by the top export companies of Cebu and local town governments. The towns will feature their respective local delicacies and tourist destinations.
Cebu had very special guests when the Expo opened. Vice-President Jejomar Binay, Senator Loren Legarda, Senator Bong Revilla and Congresswoman Imelda R. Marcos graced the opening of the 2010 1Cebu Expo. The local officials led by Governor Gwendolyn Garcia were all there to welcome the special guests. Cebu has a history of making a difference in national elections and all major political figures know this.
The CICC is filled with people for this week. The 2nd Floor is where most corporate exhibitors were located. You will see the exhibits of the Department of Tourism, Hotel Resort and Restaurant Association of Cebu (HRRAC), PLDT SME, S&R, Cebu Companies, and other Visitors.
In the Ground Floor, you will be able see some artworks from local artists, products the different cities and municipalities in Cebu, real estate exhibits, Chinese goods, and more locally made products.
The basement is all about food. Exhibitors and visitors can have their snacks or meals in this area. The variety is excellent. You can eat hotdogs and sausages from Virginia Foods and Hero Sausages. Crunch on Chicharon from Chilens and Maexyl. Sip on sweet beverages from Bubble Bee Teahouse and Thirsty. You can eat meals in the cafeteria, Mandaue foods, Ambobi Meals, Fiery Rice, and Crispy and Juicy Chicken. There's lechon by Ben's Lechon, Japanese Pancakes from Chiyo Izakaya, and Dunkin Donuts. There are local goodies and snacks offered Titay's, Magic Melt, and other similar stalls.
There is also a lot of delicacies in the ground floor with the different towns. You can have Torta from Argao, Bibingka from Asturias and Mandaue, Liempo and Dragon Fruit from Balamban, Lechon from Talisay, Humba from Ronda, Bodbod Kabug from Sogod, Dangit and Pusit from Madridejos ans Bantayan, Chicharon from Carcar and Consolacion, Baked goodies from Liloan and other towns, two yolk eggs from Naga, vegetables from Dalaguete, Kolo chips from Madridejos, and lots more. You can actually sample the taste of most goodies.
The expo also showcases local crafts like banig mats, hats, shoes, furniture, etc. Many towns are inviting people to see the tourist destinations in their area.
The Chinese visitors have some very interesting products as well. Like trucks, kitchen equipment, jewelry, and herbs like Ginseng.
